This is an ideal safety devise for securing your electronics such as dog collar transmitter, radios and GPS's. Have you ever lost your electric dog collar transmitter while hunting in the field. It's not a fun experience. This retractable Gear Keeper features a Nylon Coated Stainless Steel Cable, Stainless Steel Spring and Hardware and 60 lbs. Breaking Strength. Allows you to use your electronic devices and secure them to prevent loss when not in use. This unit uses a threaded pin to mount on the hunting vest shoulder strap. Use this with the Transmitter Pad for your electric dog training collar transmitter, the Classic Tracker telemetry collar, radios and GPS's. There is normally room for two such devices on the shoulder strap of your Quilomene Hunting Vest.
This is a staight line valve that provides a positive on-off to the hydration system in the hunting vest. The Bite Valve is designed to be used with the Camelbak but will operate fine without it. It will produce a faster flow without the Bite Valve. Using the Hydrolok allows the hunter to turn the water off while not being worn which prevents inadvertent leak.. The Siphon Tube, however, needs the Bite Valve to work while filling the hunting vest's hydration sytem.
These shelloops are built to a specific gauge. A 1 1/2 inch wide strip of non-stretch webbing is sewn onto a 4" wide piece of Velcro. They adhere to two thin strips of Velcro in the pockets. Rip one set out for another or leave them in forever. They come in a set of two, one for each pocket. Very handy for carrying your Electric Dog Collar Transmitter and other electronics !!!
This handy accessory allows you to attach items such as electric dog collar transmitters to your hunting vest's shoulder strap. This works Great for your hunting vest electronics !! It consists of a length of Velcro sewn to the strap and is provided with two 2" square pieces of adhesive Velcro to attach to the back of those items. Two devices can be attached at once. Perfect for the rectangular electric dog collar transmitters, radios, GPS's and even the Classic Tracker. A transmitter installed here allows you to operate the control buttons on the strap or it can be removed to operate. Add a Gear Keeper to retract it and it will return back into place when you are done where the Velcro will hold it there until it is needed again. A radio can be placed right under your ear and operated there without ever having to be removed. The electronics stay with your hunting vest when you take it off so everything stays together. It works great, it's convenient, and a small price to pay for the security of your electronics. !!!
Allows you to carry your gun Hands-Free !!! A short strap is attached to the gun in front of the forend. The buttstock slides inside the rear corner of the gamebag and the strap crossed over behind your neck and then secures to the shoulder strap with Velcro. The guns weight goes to the gamebag and transfers to the waist where it is almost unnoticeable. This doesn't allow for quick shooting and is mostly of interest for pointing dog guys that know well ahead of time that they will have a shooting opportunity. Also great if you know you will have to walk long distances with no shooting. This sleeve is attached to your vest's off shooting shoulder strap. The old round Tritronics transmitter slides into the sleeve and is secured with a strap across the top. The buttons are accessable and can be operated while on the shoulder. The whole thing can be removed when not in use or required. This is designed for the new G2 series of round transmitters. It features a sleeve that holds the bottom of the transmitter and the antenae is contained under a strap on the hunting vest's shoulder strap. Some of the G2 series transmitters have a button at the back of the transmitter. This unit will allow access to operate all the buttons on the transmitter while it is in its sleeve. It can be removed when not in use.
Using the Siphon Tube is the easiest way to fill your hydration system with water. If you order an hydration system with your Quilomene hunting vest or San Carlos hunting vest the Siphon Tube is included. The Siphon Tube is a 7 foot lenght of tubing with a barbed splicer on one end. To use place one end of the Tube in your water container and suck water into the tube and lower the end to set up the siphon. Lay your hunting vest on the ground or lower than the water container and insert the splicer end of the tube into the Bite Valve of the hydration system. Now get your gear and your dog ready to go and by the time you are done with that, your hydration system will be full. It's by far the easiest way to fill your system because you don't have to dig the hydration system out of the hunting vest,.and you can get more water into it this way than through the main opening of the hydration system.
This accessory is installed at the top of the left shell pocket and it holds the tube for easy access. It is included when you order a hydration system with your Quilomene or San Carlos hunting vest. The Tube Trap is installed at the top of the left shell pocket and holds the tube for easy access. The tube from the hydration system routes out the left side of the gamebag and to the front and then clips back through the tube trap. From this location it is easy to water your dog and yourself. The hydration system tube can also be routed out the right side of the gamebag and the Tube Trap moved to the right shell pocket. This system is the main hydration system for the Quilomene hunting vest. It features a large screw cap opening at the top, a 90 degree on-off valve at the end of the feed tube and a bite valve on the shut off valve. The shut off valve can be used by itself without the bite valve and it can be removed and the bite valve only can be used. It provides a positive on-off for you system while transporting the vest as well as while hunting. When ordered with a Quilomene Vest it also includes a siphon tube for filling the system and a Tube Trap on the hunting vest's shell pocket to hold the feed tube. At a 135 oz. it will hold over a gallon of water which is ample for most hunts. This system can be used as a replacement system for the older Quilomene hunting vests. The original All Day Vest and the Guides Vest were both designed to carry one or two 70 oz.systems respectively. The were also designed to fit into a provided foam sleeve. The 100 oz. system will fit into the hydration sleeve of these hunting vests without the foam sleeve which will effectively increase the capacity of the vest another 30 oz. for each system. This system includes a bite valve. This system we keep in stock for those customers that have older Quilomene hunting vests that were designed to carry this size hydration sytem. The original All Day Vest as well as the Guides vest were both designed for this size system. Should you need a replacement hydration system for these vests this is the one that you need. However, there is another option that will increase your water capacity. Take a look at the 100 oz. system for more info. This system includes a bite valve. This is the main hydration system for the San Carlos Vest. It features a large and easy access Zip Lok type opening on top. When filled to full capacity with the siphon tube it will actually hold about 72 oz. which is just over half a gallon. Like the Quilomene hunting vest, the feed tube routes out of the left side of the gamebag and to the Tube Trap on the top of the shell pocket. This system also fits into the top cargo pocket on the back of the Quilomene hunting vest. It would be used as a second hydration sytem only, but will increase the capacity of the Quilomene hunting vest to over 200 oz. This capacity is needed for some Chukar hunters and other hunters who hunt dry country for long hours. It can also be filled with liquids other than water for the hunter such as Gatorade etc. Remember on those long hunts it is also very important to keep yourself well hydrated as well as the dog. In this use the feed tube routes out of the top of the vest with the shoulder strap and clips to the shoulder strap in front. With the large Zip Lok type opening it is also easy to fill with ice and liquid for cool refreshment. If, however, you do use sugared drinks it will be important to rinse and dry the sytem to keep things from growing inside the hydration bladder. This system includes a bite valve. |
